Terms of Use

OweMate is distributed through the App Store and licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Those terms apply in full. The points below explain how they relate to OweMate.

What OweMate is

OweMate is a personal record of money you lend to and borrow from people you know. Balances, reminders, photo cards and statements are based entirely on what you enter. OweMate doesn’t lend money, offer loans, collect debts or give financial or legal advice.

AI reminders

On supported iPhones, reminder messages are written by Apple Intelligence on your device. Always read a message before you send it. You’re responsible for what you send and to whom.

OweMate Pro

OweMate Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks PDF statements and instant reminders. It’s purchased through your Apple Account and can be restored on your other devices with Restore Purchases in OweMate’s Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Your ledger is stored on your devices and in your own iCloud account. How OweMate and its partners handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
